Quality Assurance Process

Our Quality Assurance process is both a safeguarding control and a developmental mechanism that supports high standards of professional practice.

  • Each case is allocated to a named Consultant Social Worker, who provides oversight and professional consultation throughout the assessment process, as required.

  • All written and electronic communications are conducted using secure, encrypted systems in accordance with the UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and Local Authority information governance standards.

  • The practitioner submits the completed report to Yesoh Care Services a minimum of four working days before the agreed court or filing deadline.

  • A Case Manager undertakes an initial compliance review to confirm:

    • Adherence to the letter of instruction

    • Correct formatting and court-compliant structure

    • Inclusion of all required appendices and declarations

  • The allocated Consultant Social Worker then conducts a detailed quality review, considering:

    • Whether the analysis is clearly distinguished from the evidence

    • The proportionality and clarity of risk assessment

    • The child’s voice, wishes, and feelings

    • The impact of adult behaviour on the child’s welfare

    • The robustness, rationale, and defensibility of recommendations

Reports are only authorised for release once they meet the required professional, statutory, and court standards.

Ofsted-Style Quality Principles

Yesoh Care Services’ quality assurance framework is underpinned by principles consistent with Ofsted’s Inspection Framework and expectations of effective social work practice:

Working in Partnership with Commissioners

Yesoh Care Services works in partnership with organisations that support children, young people, and families, including Local Authorities, legal professionals, and private clients involved in Family Court proceedings.

We are developing as a multi-disciplinary service provider, delivering child-focused assessments, interventions, and professional support services. Our practice is grounded in safeguarding, ethical decision-making, and a clear commitment to improving outcomes for children within their families and communities.

We welcome opportunities to work collaboratively with commissioners and instructing parties, offering a responsive and flexible approach that reflects current pressures within the family justice system.

  • Flexible Commissioning and Service Delivery

Yesoh Care Services understands the operational and capacity challenges faced by Local Authorities and partner agencies. We aim to provide a flexible and adaptive service, responding to both planned instructions and spot-purchased work as needs arise.

As a growing organisation, we are open to:

    • Spot-purchased assessments and specialist pieces of work

    • Small-scale or pilot commissioning arrangements

    • Time-limited projects to support service demand

Our focus is on delivering work that is proportionate, timely, and compliant, while maintaining high professional standards and safeguarding oversight.

  • Areas of Support and Expertise

Subject to instruction and capacity, Yesoh Care Services can provide:

    • Independent social work assessments (including Parenting, Section 7, SGO, and other specialist assessments)

    • Child-focused and family-based interventions

    • Professional case consultation and advice

    • Quality assurance support for assessments and reports

    • Targeted assistance to address assessment backlogs or capacity pressures

    • Practice audits and reflective quality reviews, where appropriate

All work is undertaken in line with statutory guidance, Family Court expectations, and recognised best practice.
