Founder’s Story:
Akeh Bernardine
Akeh Bernardine, founder of Yesoh Care Services, is a qualified social worker with extensive experience in children’s services, safeguarding, family assessments, and court work. Her career began in statutory social work, where she saw firsthand how families navigating separation, care proceedings, and complex disputes often felt unsupported — and how children’s voices were not always fully heard. Driven by a desire to offer integrated, compassionate support, at Yesoh Care Services, families can access a range of professional services, including family mediation, therapeutic support, parenting guidance, assessments, McKenzie Friend support, and practical interventions tailored to individual family needs. Akeh is trained in the ParentAssess model and is highly skilled in conducting a wide range of assessments, including parenting assessments, Form F fostering assessments, SGO assessments, and Section 7 welfare reports. She also collaborates with qualified psychologists to ensure that all psychological assessments meet the highest clinical and legal standards. Her leadership is grounded in compassion, professionalism, and a deep commitment to child-centred practice.
Through Yesoh Care Services, Akeh continues to bridge the gap between emotional, legal, and practical support—empowering families to move forward with clarity, dignity, and hope.
